Beauty Tip #2

Many people think that makeup is the only way to add to your face. Wrong! You hair should be used as a secret weapon. To frame your face go with layers so your face shape is very prominent. Bangs give you a more dramatic and sophisticated look. If you go with side swept bangs you have more of a boho look. Another thing that can frame your face is glasses. Glasses can add or take away from your face. Now this applies to prescription reading glasses, sunglasses, or any other type of glasses. When framing your face with glasses you need to know your face shape. An oval face has a chin that is narrower than the forehead with balanced features. A round face shape is where the length and width of your face are around the same. This does not mean your face literally looks like a circle. A heart face shape is where you have a very defined jaw line. A square face shape is where you have very defined features all around including the chin, jawline, forehead and cheekbones. If you have an oval shape go for the rectangle and butterfly shaped glasses. If you have a round face go for angled glasses to sharpen your features. If you have a heart shape round frames will soften your forehead and where cat eye shapes add balance to your face. For a round face go for round glasses to soften your face. Now onto the brows. Brows will shape your face and can make or break your face. Bold, defined brows like Cara Delevigne will give off a confident vibe, where lightly shaped brows can show off your feminine side. Whichever route you choose make sure you set your brows with a powder or gel. I recommend gel because powder can slide off.  Also, when filling in your brows, go for a color that looks like your hair color, not your brow color. This weekend enjoy the nature of wherever you live!
As always,
xoxo Em
